Southern tip of Eleuthera

I had to wait until we got high speed wifi to post these videos to YouTube, and then link to them in my blog. Today we're on Grenada. It's a short day (arrival at 7am; be back on the ship at 1:30pm for a 2pm sailing), so we decided not to go the the beach (we're planning beach days the next two days on Bonaire and Aruba), and set out to take a walk instead. But in the mall right at the cruise terminal we found high speed FREE wifi, which, as you know, is a very good thing. So we're taking some time to do some catch up Internet.

These videos were taken on Monday, December 19th on our hike from the Princess Cays resort to the southern tip of Eleuthera. The first couple are of the beach on the Caribbean side, and the first one was taken when we first reached the beach, from the "road" on which we had been walking for an hour.

These next ones were taken after we hiked across a low ridge to the Atlantic side beach, and found the high coral (limestone?) caves that reminded us of Ash Cave in southeastern Ohio.

The next video was taken standing inside of a cave while the waves washed in and out.

Check out where you-know-who climbed to in this one.

That was one fun day!
