Day 13: Cabo San Lucas 1

I’m preparing a blog post today solely to publish menus and the Patter and a few pics, but, really? It was all football, all day, though sadly, only tonight’s Chargers v Pats game was shown on MUTS. Fortunately, the wildcard games have also been shown in the cabin, and our cabin TV has a great screen.

I wasn’t a bit hungry at breakfast and skipped it altogether, then ended up having an omelet for lunch in the Botticelli Dining Room (we had a 1pm arrival in Cabo San Lucas so the dining room was open for lunch).

Our view at lunch as we arrived in Cabo

We finally left the cabin to go to the Elite Lounge between games but it was so pretty outside that we took our nibbles out to the Promenade Deck to enjoy the view.

We went to the large outside area above the bridge for sunset, though it wasn’t a spectacular one tonight. G went back to the cabin to change (we decided to go to the Michelangelo Dining Room just for a one course dinner, and all the dining rooms were open seating tonight) but I stayed above the bridge a little while longer, hoping the sunset might still pop. It really didn’t, but, even better, there was an announcement from the bridge that a family of whales, two parents and two babies, were swimming down the starboard side of the ship. I was in the perfect position, standing above the bridge wing to watch them.

It’s a tad chilly up on the Lido Deck, so we are back in the cabin tonight watching the final game of the day. One more game tomorrow night and our spectatorship is done… until next weekend. 😉🏈
