Day 80: At Sea

We had another sunny, hot day at sea. Lucky us! We ate breakfast in the buffet and then hot tubbed, enjoyed the sun and then ate lunch in the dining room. After lunch it was more sun, pool, hot tub, pre-dinner drinks and conversation in Skywalkers (we'll miss friends Janet and Bob, who, we figured out today, we've cruised with for four Januarys now, and Terry and Sue, who we first met last year), and then food again at dinner. I love the last day of a cruise when we're staying on...the ship seems less crowded as many people are in their cabins packing. Couple that with good weather and I'm a happy camper, er, cruiser.

After dinner, we skipped the main show and instead opted, for the first time, to go to the International Crew Show at 10:15pm. Good grief...why have we missed this in our seven previous cruises? This was some of the best, funnest entertainment of the cruise, all performed by crew members.

Just before the show began, hundreds of balloons were released in the theater and it was hilarious to see all these adults acting like kids, batting them around. It definitely kept us occupied for several minutes while we waited.

The talent of these crew members was AMAZING. we had four singers, one drummer, some comedy sketches and our own waiter, Suttipong from Thailand and two other Thai waiters did a traditional Thai dance.
