Day 72: Princess Cays

Today was another beautiful day at Princess Cays. The high winds and rough water of December are a thing of the past, it seems. Today featured bright sun, light wind and a temperature around 80. Perfection.

We were on the very first tender over to the island this morning, shortly after 9am. One of the perks we get for being Elite in Princess's Captains Circle program (their loyalty program) is priority tendering, meaning we don't have to wait for a spot in a tender; we simply go to the tender loading area when we're ready to leave the ship. Today, that really paid off. Since it was such a beautiful day, there were a lot of people (probably close to 3000) wanting to tender, and we enjoyed getting two seats on the first tender of the day.

When I tell you that we were on the very last tender coming back to the ship at 3:15pm, I guess you can tell we had a great day.

As usual, G went for a walk, a shorter one that we'd do together, but enough of a walk to keep him entertained. I enjoyed swimming a lot in the water, but also using our float. G reappeared about 11:30am, just in time for the beach BBQ (we always opt for the grilled chicken breasts over a burger or hot dog), and then we spent time together in the water interspersed with time in the sun.

Back on the ship, our evening plans include Skywalkers, dinner, and then either a show or listening to the pianist in the Adagio Lounge.

Another good day.
