Day 88: St. Kitts

This was a perfectly gorgeous day for a beach outing, and we took advantage of it by visiting not one, but two very different beaches located about a mile apart.
We started our day by taking a taxi to the Marriott resort on the Atlantic side of the island. The resort was beautiful and the beach was incredible. But the pounding waves on the Atlantic side of St. Kitts were so rough that we couldn't go in the water at all. We walked the beach for awhile, and sat down on a quiet end of it to enjoy the sound of the crashing waves, but we just didn't trust getting in the water beyond our knees.
