The beach is so nice that there is an all inclusive resort on it, called Rendevous St. Lucia. Since all the beaches on St. Lucia are public, we simply put our picnic tarp down under a palm tree amongst the resort's loungers. But I have to admit that I looked longingly at one service available to those staying at the resort: when they wanted a drink, they simply put a flag on about a 3 foot pole in the sand. Within minutes, someone was coming for their drink order. The warm water in the water bottle I had brought paled in comparison.
