Last cruise used 1390 tons of fuel, 6 tons under budget. This cruise will use more because of the use of the stabilizers due to the rough seas.
One office in Miami sources fuel oil for all CCL ships.
Took on fresh water yesterday in Barbados. Have to do this on this Eastern Caribbean itinerary, but not the Southern Caribbean itinerary. Have to go a certain speed/distance to make own fresh water through desalination. Still have to process fresh water from islands to ensure safety.
Food waste can't be dumped on this itinerary, and so is put through a centrifuge process to remove liquids. Remaining solids are offloaded to Waste Management in Fort Lauderdale, not dumped as fish food which is a common misconception.
Recycle used cooking oil- Island School in Eleuthera for biodiesel production. All cooking oil on ship is changed every night.

Ironing: plugging into shore-side power. 

Actually, there are probably more than 1000 hotels defects each week (we personally have at least one every cruise, usually a burned out lightbulb).

ROI on hull silicone painting forecasted 2 hrs; Roddy thinks will be faster. Like for like tests show impressive speed enhancement.
Graving dry dock is one where the water is pumped out.
