It's the cruise that gives us an even 100 days on a ship this winter.
I'm so glad we're doing it.
But it's sad, too. Our wonderful cabin steward, Cristian returned home to Bucharest, Romania today. He's been with us from day 1. We've lost several other favorite crew members over the past couple of cruises as their contracts have come to an end and they've returned home. We've learned that, due to crew changes and, of course, a whole new set of passengers, every cruise feels a bit different from the others.
I may be looking forward to BEING home, but I'm not looking forward to NOT being here. If that makes any sense.
After two sea days, we've gotten a lot of sleep and relaxation. This next cruise starts with two sea days, so we hope to squeeze as much fun as possible into the final eight days. We can sleep again when we get home.
And so, we're off again, to the Eastern Caribbean one last time.
