Day 58: Antigua
We slept late this morning, as we had stayed awake until well after midnight watching that beautiful Michigan win over Virginia Tech in the Sugar Bowl last night. Still, we made it to breakfast in the dining room around 9am, and Francesco seated us at a very nice corner table by a window. You can imagine our shock when we looked up to see a ship sailing into port late, around 9:30am. Seated where we were, low on the ship on Deck 6, the ship seemed like a behemoth as it slowly moved into place against the dock. Then we saw that it was the Ruby Princess, a twin to our ship and just one year newer. We had been on the Ruby for 20 nights a couple of years ago when it was doing these 10 night itineraries instead of the Emerald Princess.
