Day 57: St. Lucia

Another day, another forced march, er, walk to burn off calories. During a leisurely breakfast in the dining room, we scoped out a path on Google maps. We were surprised this morning to see that the ship was docked across the Castries harbor from its usual position at Pointe Seraphine. Instead, we were in the heart of the city at the freight dock at La Place Carenage. This put us further from the only beach within walking distance, Vigie Beach. So we instead decided to walk to the south head of the Castries harbor.

As we walked along the waterfront past the freight area, we encountered a residential area that was criss-crossed with narrow waterways and connected by footbridges.
