Friday was our last day on the Jubilee, and we had two things in mind: get to three dining places we’d not yet visited and spend some time in the thermal suite. Oh, and pack, which wouldn’t be too hard. First, we weren’t flying the next day and also we had worn the same thing to dinner every single night of the cruise. It can be done, and doing it simplified everything.
We split a breakfast burrito at the Blue Iguana Cantina on deck 16. We were crossing paths with Hurricane Rafael which made for intermittent rain showers and ferocious wind and swells (apparent wind against the bow was 64mph!), and I half expected people to be hunkered down for the day but, no, the decks were still packed.
For lunch, we visited Cucina del Capitano, another restaurant that Princess would consider casual dining. Like Chibang, the first visit is free and subsequent visits are $8. If we had discovered this place early in the cruise, we would not have eaten dinner anywhere else. It was excellent.
We spent the afternoon at the Thermal Suite. What a wonderful surprise that turned out to be, and it really made our cruise. In fact, we would book the exact same cabin again if we cruised on the Jubilee again (5263). With the special entrance to the spa from Deck 5, it was a perfect location.
Dinner was at Teppanyaki, and it was fantastic, but I had to leave half my dinner (I sure wish I had a doggie bag for this week!). It was just too much food. We were joined by eight friends we had made on board this week, and it was a fun way to wrap up the cruise.

We had our suitcases out by 9pm and called it a night. Our plan was to be among the last people to disembark the next day, but we had to be out of our cabin by 8:30am.
I have a lot of pics from the Jubilee that I need to get from G’s camera. I’ll be adding those in, too, but it may take a week or three.
