Finally!

For the first time, with 258 previous nights cruised on Princess, we were invited to the Most Traveled Passengers Cocktail Party, more commonly known as the top 40 party (or luncheon, on some ships). We were among the 40 most traveled passengers on this cruise. On shorter cruises, we might have had this honor several cruises ago; on more exotic cruises we wouldn't make the cut for a few more years. Even these 10 night cruises typically attract older, more traveled passengers, so having been invited this cruise is certainly no guarantee of near-future invites.

Still, it's fun to be invited, and have drinks and conversations with the ship's senior officers. We've sailed quite a few times with Captain Pomata in the past, and he is leaving us after this cruise to go home for the holidays, so it was nice to get a photo taken with him.
