We were walking up (this entire island is very mountain-y, so you're always walking up or down) to the Botanic Gardens. We had visited there last year, but weren't really certain we had…it's not like it's a formal botanic gardens with well-labeled plants and trees. More, it is like a big park. Well, we approached it from a different direction this year, and, yes, we had, in fact, been in the right place last year.
We were greeted first by a huge banyan tree, and really appreciated its shade.
