The Piazza

We went to breakfast in the dining room a bit later than usual, which I suspect a lot of people did today. I then took some time to walk around the ship to take photos. You might ask why I waited until a sea day to do this, instead of on a port day when everyone is off the ship, or on turnaround day between cruises. For professional photos of the ship's interior, you can go to princess.com. These photos show cruise life at its busiest...people are shopping, choosing photos they've had taken on board, sitting around in the Piazza relaxing, attending lectures and playing bingo. Forget what the brochures show: this is the reality of cruise life.

The Piazza is the ship's atrium, from Deck 5 to Deck 7. At the base, on Deck 5, there is musical and busker-type entertainment throughout the day and evening, which can be viewed from all three levels. The Internet Cafe and International Cafe are on Deck 5 adjacent to the Piazza. The Passenger Services Desk is located on Deck 6 in the Piazza, and there are shops on Decks 6 and 7.
The mid-ship elevators are located just off the Piazza, with two panoramic elevators overlooking the Piazza, and with entertaining rising bubbles to look at on the decks above 7.
