The weather yesterday allowed for no sunrise photos. We awoke early to watch the ship sail into Port Everglades before sunrise. Unlike most of the prior 10 days, it was raining, windy and cooler, and, in the end, I didn't walk outside. Instead, we spent a busy turnaround day going through immigration, walking to the Walgreens less than 10 minutes away and picking up a few things, and using the free WiFi in the terminal to get a few things done. We were allowed to skip muster drill since we had attended last cruise.
This new cruise has a much different passenger demographic, generally younger, and several multi-generational family groups. It is amusing to see how this change makes the cruise feel very different.
Sailaway was a bit of a bust, with all the wind and rain. As is typical, our first few hours in the Atlantic Ocean were rough, but the bad weather intensified this and we had moderate seas last night. After dinner we listened to some live music and had an early evening. Turnaround days are tiring, even for the passengers.
I was up early today for sunrise, which was scheduled for 6:15am. After yesterday's bad weather, I wasn't certain what the day would bring, but it is nice out there this morning, although there is one big dark cloud in the west. We plan to take the tender to Princess Cays after breakfast.
