Sailaway preparations from Dominica

Photo 1: the lines to the ballard on the right had already been released, and this worker was awaiting the lines on the another forward ballard to be released

Photo 2: one of the lines is slackened

Photo 3: he drops it into the water

Photo 4: after the final line is released, he boards the pilot boat

Photo 5: workers on three aft ballards waiting to be picked up

Due to yesterday's swell, we were "tied" up at 6 different places, from 2 to 3 lines on each place. Sailaway prep, from departure clearance to collecting the gangways to releasing the lines generally takes 30 minutes or so. Arrivals take that long or even a bit longer.
