Generally speaking, these 10-night cruises on the Emerald Princess alternate: Eastern Caribbean- Southern Caribbean. But not always. Case in point: this cruise, where we are headed right back to the Eastern Caribbean again. Do we get bored? What is it they say...if you have to ask, you simply wouldn't understand.
This cruise is giving us a first; instead of going to Princess Cays on the Day 10 of the cruise, we're instead going to Grand Turk on Day 9. We've never been to the Turks and Caicos islands before, so we're looking forward to that. And we'll return there twice more this winter, on our Noordam cruise and on an Emerald cruise in January, so whatever we miss out on this visit we'll catch on a future one. It's a good system.
We much prefer port days to sea days (not everyone does), but on this cruise we'll have six ports in a row. We'll have to pace our selves!
