Every cruise, David Pitchfork (aka Snow shovel- with the trumpet in the photos) and the 7 piece Emerald Princess orchestra do a jazz set in the Adagio lounge, called Jazzio in the Adagio. As part of the entertainment changes this cruise, this time they performed with the steel drum artist, Trevor Cole. Trevor plays a lot all around the ship. When we first came on board, he played primarily in the Piazza, but he's so popular that he's now playing in several lounges and poolside as well. The orchestra and Trevor are our favorite ship musicians, and to have them perform together...well, they were incredible, and the lounge was filled with people who also appreciated their music. We've gotten to know David and Trevor on these cruises and it was great to hear them together.
So, it was an entire evening filled with awesome live entertainment. The talent of all these people is astounding, and we both love live music performances. As we returned to our cabin just before midnight, G said, "I will NEVER get tired of this", and he's right. We would definitely be bored staying in a condo in Florida; I really think we could cruise for...well, maybe not for forever, but certainly for longer than 100 days.
This was Day 75. We're 3/4 of the way through.
:-(
But we still have 25 days left!
