Well, it was certain to happen sometime...we're having a SUNNY day in Dominica. Memories of torrential rain on Thanksgiving, almost perpetual rainbows from almost perpetual showers on most other days. Although there are dark clouds visible over the mountains, they seem to be staying there.
We had planned to do Jack's Walk again, from the Botanic Gardens to the Morne Bruce lookout overlooking the town of Roseau, but it's hot out there today (the sun does do that), and my drill sergeant is feeling a bit slow, so it seems we may skip that. Instead, we walked over to the Fort Young Hotel again, enjoying the sense of history we get while we're there...and the free high speed Internet! I've been having email issues with my iPhone for a couple of days, and nothing will bring this blog to a halt faster than losing the ability to post, via email, directly from my iPhone. So this is a bit of a test post, to see if I have it fixed.
Mom's reports of snow and bitter cold in Ohio have made us appreciate our beautiful weather even more. Like G says, we now have spring, summer, fall...and another summer in our lives. The second photo is what January 21st looks like in OUR world.
