G making his way back to the ship to meet me for breakfast. These men from our ship knew him and stopped him to talk, and I knew breakfast was going to be delayed a little bit longer.
This is Francesco, the head waiter in the Da Vinci dining room where we eat breakfast everyday and lunch on sea days. It is Francesco who greets us in Italian every morning and who directs us to a lovely table for two by a window whenever possible.
We will sorely, sorely miss seeing Francesco's smiling face each morning after we return home.
But we're not thinking about that yet. 64 more days to go.
