These worn steps led to the lighthouse. We ventured in, despite some of the floorboards being rotted and broken, and examined the one room stone building. In the corner, we could see where the lighthouse keeper used to have a wood stove. And there were some basic steps/ladder up to what must have been a sleeping loft. We didn't trust the steps enough to go up there, but there wouldn't have been standing room up there anyway.
It would have been a very primitive existence, but, wow, the views were spectacular.
