Day 40 (Princess Cays)
These photos show the tender process used to transfer passengers to Princess Cays resort, on the southwestern tip of Eleuthera, in the Bahamas. Most passengers have to wait in one of the dining rooms for a tender ticket, which apportions people out based on tender boat capacity. Since we have Elite status, one of our benefits is that we bypass that process and proceed directly to Deck 4, check off the ship using our ship's cards, and then walk down one more flight of stairs to Deck 3. The large doors that are opened on the side of the ship are on Deck 3, which you can see are just above the waterline. Therefore, when I talk about Deck 19, it's actually only 16 stories above the water (no deck 13; decks 1 and 2 are below the waterline).
